Biography

Anne Thurmann-Jajes is head of the Centre for Artists’ Publications at the Weserburg Museum for Modern Art, and teaches in the Institute of Science of Art-Film Science-Art Education at the University of Bremen. She is curator of numerous exhibitions and author or editor of many catalogues and books.

Some of her exhibition and research projects were supported by the German Federal Cultural Foundation (exhibition project about Sound Art as well as Poetry goes Art), the Foundation Kunstfonds (Art on Air – Radio Art in Flux), the European Commission, Culture 2007 – 2013 (Living Memory. Artists’ Publications in Europe) and since 2011 by the Volkswagen Foundation (research project about radio art).
